UFC Bombshell: Last-Minute Knockout Changes Title Picture—Watch the Must-See Finish

With UFC 333 only weeks away, the promotion is bringing championship stakes and international star power back to Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on Saturday, 24 October 2026. Headlining the card, reigning featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski puts his belt on the line against unbeaten Russian contender Movsar Evloev in a clash that promises five rounds of frenetic pace, elite scrambling and striking creativity. Volkanovski, 28-4, is making his sixth title defense; Evloev, 18-0, has never tasted defeat and owns signature wins over Arnold Allen and Giga Chikadze that vaulted him to the No. 1 spot. The co-main event is arguably just as compelling: former champion Petr Yan collides with Merab Dvalishvili for the third time, this one for the vacant bantamweight title. Their rivalry sits at 1-1 after two razor-close decisions, and UFC president Dana White confirmed the trilogy would settle the score in the desert. Add to that a middleweight showcase featuring surging finisher Roman Kopylov against ex-title challenger Paulo Costa, plus the long-awaited lightweight return of Rafael Fiziev versus rising Aussie Jack Della Maddalena, and UFC 333 becomes must-see MMA. How to watch: Early prelims stream on UFC Fight Pass at 10 a.m. ET, prelims move to ESPN+ at noon, and the pay-per-view main card kicks off at 2 p.m. ET/10 p.m. GST exclusively on Paramount+ for U.S. viewers and on various international broadcast partners worldwide. Ticket demand is already high; local promoters report near sell-outs following the announcement that UFC will once again bring its signature Octagon to Yas Island for the fall showcase. Key storylines driving searches: • Can Volkanovski reassert his dominance after a split-decision scare against Ilia Topuria, or will Evloev extend his perfect run and usher in a new era at 145 lbs? • Will Yan’s crisp boxing or Dvalishvili’s relentless wrestling dictate the pace in their rubber match for the bantamweight crown? • Is Costa still a top-five threat, or will Kopylov’s body-shot knockouts make the Russian a surprise title contender come Sunday morning?
