Watch Riley Green’s Tear-Jerking “Jesus Saves” Performance on The Voice Finale—Fans Call It His Best Yet
• Hot Trendy News
Country star Riley Green is ending 2025 on a career-high note and teeing up an even bigger 2026. This week the Alabama native scored his sixth Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 as “Don’t Mind If I Do,” his duet with rising powerhouse Ella Langley, topped the U.S. and Canada charts, making Green the first artist since Taylor Swift to land back-to-back self-written chart-toppers on Country Airplay. The new milestone arrives just months after he expanded his 2024 album with the Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe) edition, adding six fresh tracks that have become staples of his live show.
Green’s hot streak isn’t confined to radio. During The Voice season-28 finale, he brought the crowd to its feet with a soul-stirring performance of fan favorite “Jesus Saves,” reminding millions of primetime viewers why he’s one of country’s most compelling live vocalists. The televised appearance doubled as a sneak peek of the bigger stage production he’s promising for his 2026 Cowboy As It Gets Tour, which launches in April with support from Justin Moore, Drake White, MacKenzie Carpenter and more.
In a move that broadens his brand beyond music, Green has also confirmed his acting debut in an as-yet-unnamed television series. While tight-lipped on plot details, he revealed the show “is going to be airing sometime fairly soon,” noting that long days on set sandwiched between weekend concerts made the new challenge “tough but rewarding”. Industry insiders say the project could introduce Green to an entirely new audience just as his touring profile hits arena level.
Between another No. 1 hit, a buzz-worthy TV role and an ambitious 2026 trek already selling fast, Riley Green is positioning himself as country music’s next crossover force. Fans should expect new music teasers as early as January—and given Green’s current momentum, betting against him would be a mistake.
