Phil Rosenthal Reveals Surprise New Food Adventure Series—Here’s When You Can Watch
• Hot Trendy News
Phil Rosenthal, the Emmy-winning creator of “Everybody Loves Raymond” and affable host of Netflix’s “Somebody Feed Phil,” is serving up a full menu of projects this fall—both on the road and at the table.
The comic food-lover has been zig-zagging the country on his 2025 “Somebody Feed Phil—Live!” tour, mixing stand-up anecdotes with audience Q&A and video outtakes. More than 40 dates are booked, from Seattle to Miami, with many venues already sold out according to his official site. The next stop is November 7 at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, a home-state appearance that marks the 30th show of the run.
When he isn’t on stage, Rosenthal is plating nostalgia in Los Angeles. Together with James Beard Award–winning chef Nancy Silverton, he quietly opened Max & Helen’s—a Larchmont-Village diner named after his late parents that specializes in matzo-ball soup, brisket melts and classic milkshakes. In a recent broadcast segment, Rosenthal said the 40-seat spot is “a love letter to mom and dad” and to the comfort foods viewers see him chase around the globe. Early diners report counter-service charm wrapped in Silverton’s trademark bread artistry, and local media have already dubbed it one of fall’s buzziest restaurant debuts.
Fans binge-watching past episodes needn’t wait long for fresh travels: Rosenthal confirmed on Instagram that Netflix has ordered Season 8 of “Somebody Feed Phil,” with new destinations ranging from Adelaide to Guatemala now in production. While Netflix has not announced a premiere date, industry insiders expect a late-spring 2026 release that could coincide with the tail end of his tour.
Why the continued appetite for all things Phil? Analysts point to his unique crossover appeal—part stand-up comic, part culinary ambassador, part everyman tourist—which makes him relatable to viewers across demographics. Add a pinch of genuine curiosity and a heaping dose of dad jokes, and the recipe keeps delivering viral moments on TikTok and Reels.
For Rosenthal, the mission remains simple. “If I can make you hungry and make you smile at the same time,” he often tells crowds, “that’s a pretty good day.” With a coast-to-coast tour, a new hometown diner and another Netflix season simmering, it looks like Phil’s good days—and his fans’—are just getting started.
