Missouri vs Ole Miss Live: Score, Stream Links, Odds & Top-10 SEC Highlights

The Week 7 SEC clash between No. 9 Ole Miss and No. 13 Missouri is living up to its billing as a pivotal mid-season litmus test for both division contenders. At the time of writing, the Rebels hold a 14-3 edge late in the second quarter inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi. Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart has already flashed the deep-ball accuracy that has made Lane Kiffin’s offense one of the most explosive units in the country, connecting with Jordan Watkins on a 48-yard strike that set up the opening touchdown. Quinshon Judkins is hammering away between the tackles, forcing Missouri’s front seven to commit extra bodies to the box and opening up single-coverage opportunities outside. For Mizzou, Eli Drinkwitz needs junior signal-caller Brady Cook to find his rhythm quickly. Cook’s early misfires and a drive-stalling sack have limited the Tigers to a single field goal, despite solid pass protection from left tackle Javon Foster. Wideout Theo Wease Jr. has been Cook’s most reliable target with leading receiver Luther Burden III nursing an ankle tweak that kept him out of the opening series. Key first-half stats underline the contrast in efficiency: Ole Miss owns an 8.2 yards-per-play clip, while Missouri is managing just 4.9. The Rebels have also converted 4-of-6 third-down tries, compared with the Tigers’ 1-for-5. Both teams have avoided turnovers so far, but Missouri’s defense has already spent more than 15 minutes on the field, a red flag if the pace continues. Fans tuning in on SEC Network can expect plenty of second-half fireworks. Drinkwitz is likely to dial up quicker tempo and more pre-snap motion to isolate Ole Miss linebackers in coverage, especially if Burden can return at full speed. On the other sideline, look for Kiffin to keep mixing heavy inside zone with play-action shots to tight end Caden Prieskorn, testing a Tiger secondary that surrendered multiple explosive passes to LSU earlier this month. Beyond conference standings, the matchup carries significant College Football Playoff implications. A win would push Ole Miss to 5-1 and keep the Rebels squarely in the New Year’s Six conversation. Missouri, already boasting a signature victory over Kansas State, could vault back into the top 10 by stealing a road win in Oxford and would remain very much alive in the SEC East race.
