Lakers vs Jazz Live Tonight (Oct 25): Tip-Off Time, TV Channel, Streaming Links & Key Storylines

Luka Dončić lit up the Delta Center with 52 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers outlasted the Utah Jazz 132-123 on opening week, pushing L.A. to 3-0 while dropping Utah to 1-2. The Slovenian superstar attacked every Jazz defender thrown at him, drilling eight triples and living at the stripe (10-11 FT). His 17-for-30 shooting night marked the highest single-game output of the young 2026-27 NBA season, silencing a raucous Salt Lake City crowd each time Utah threatened a comeback. Lauri Markkanen paced the Jazz with 28 points, and rookie forward Ace Bailey flashed two-way potential with 18 points and 12 boards. Yet Utah’s 17 turnovers turned into 25 Laker points, nullifying a 50-31 rebounding advantage. Keyonte George’s late flurry—13 of his 23 coming in the fourth—cut L.A.’s lead to four with 2:11 left, but Dončić answered with a step-back three over Walker Kessler, then fed Austin Reaves for a dagger corner trey to seal it. Reaves finished with 24 points, while Jaren Jackson Jr. chipped in 18 and four blocks. Head coach Darvin Ham praised his new core afterward: “When Luka draws two, our spacing with Jaren and Austin makes us really hard to guard. Tonight was a glimpse of what we can be.” Jazz coach Will Hardy pointed to defensive lapses: “We scored 123—more than enough—but transition and live-ball turnovers killed us.” The victory keeps the Lakers atop the Pacific Division and extends their regular-season winning streak to seven dating back to last April. They host the Nuggets on Tuesday in an early Western Conference measuring stick, while Utah looks to regroup before visiting the Suns. Search interest around “Lakers vs Jazz score,” “Dončić 52 points,” and “Lakers highlights” is already spiking, and with both teams loaded with young talent, the season series—next meeting Jan. 3 in Los Angeles—promises playoff-level drama. Fans can expect more fireworks as Dončić continues his MVP push and the Jazz chase a return to postseason play.
