Delta Force’s ‘Morphosis’ Update Catapults Shooter to #1—30 Million Daily Players Now Outpacing PUBG
• Hot Trendy News
Delta Force has kicked off 2026 with its biggest shake-up yet: the free Season “Morphosis” patch landed on 3 February and instantly flipped the series’ trademark extraction formula by letting players step into the boots of an end-game boss in the new “Fiery Owl Hunt” mode.
In classic matches you infiltrate, scavenge and escape—now you ARE the target. Queue for Fiery Owl Hunt and you’ll spawn as Saeed, Delta Force’s agile warlord, or as one of his elite guards. Saeed wields a signature Fire Bow, enjoys an expanded tactical roll and commands allied Ahsarah Guards that ignore his squad and hunt rival Operators instead. Dropping the boss isn’t just bragging rights: enemy teams that down Saeed loot an exclusive crate packed with high-tier gear and progression tokens, so firefights naturally converge on his location, keeping every match unpredictable.
Morphosis layers on more than a role-reversal. A new 32 v 32 Warfare map, Aftershock, introduces full-scene destruction across a quake-ravaged metropolis, while a free Support Operator, Vlinder, debuts with a drone that repairs vehicles mid-battle. Vehicle skins and in-match customisation arrive for the first time, and the Tide Prison raid gains a Normal difficulty so newcomers can learn its boss mechanics without the brutal timer.
Progression is equally refreshed. Fiery Owl Hunt ships with its own task board; clear objectives to unlock Saeed-themed weapon ornaments, an upgradable melee blade and lore cut-scenes that flesh out the warlord’s motives. Meanwhile, the in-game store rotates the “Dark Star Survival Knife” bundle, timed to Season 8’s launch on 3 February, for style hunters chasing rare cosmetics.
How to jump in:
• Platforms – PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and mobile share a unified account, and the update is a zero-downtime download.
• Playlists – select Fiery Owl Hunt from the Operations tab; Saeed squads are filled first-come-first-served, so re-queue if you spawn as a regular Operator.
• Quick tips – bring incendiary grenades to counter Saeed’s guards, focus fire on his health phases, and stash a self-revive kit before pushing the boss room.
Team Jade insists the season is “no pay-to-win,” reiterating that all firepower changes are cosmetic or skill-based, not stat boosts. With role-swap chaos, a destructible city map and cross-platform parity, Morphosis positions Delta Force as 2026’s extraction-shooter wildcard. Log in, decide whether you want to be the hunter or the hunted, and see if you can survive the Fiery Owl.
