College GameDay is heading to Nashville, Tennessee, planting its famous set on Vanderbilt University’s Wyatt Lawn for Week 9 of the 2025 college football season. The three-hour pregame show airs live Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m.-noon ET (8-11 a.m. local) on ESPN, ESPNU and Disney+, building anticipation for No. 10 Vanderbilt’s top-15 clash with No. 15 Missouri at FirstBank Stadium. WHY NASHVILLE AND WHY NOW • Vanderbilt is enjoying its first AP top-10 ranking since 1947 after back-to-back wins over ranked SEC opponents. • Missouri brings a 6-1 record and a history of dominance in the series (12-4-1 all-time). • This is College GameDay’s first visit to Music City since 2008 and its first ever broadcast from Wyatt Lawn, a scenic greenspace in the heart of campus that recently hosted a nationally-televised volleyball match. SET DETAILS AND FAN INFORMATION • Gates to Wyatt Lawn open at 5 a.m. CT; the pit (standing-room area behind the main stage) opens at 5:30 a.m. Fans are encouraged to bring creative signs and wear black and gold. • Road closures: Portions of 21st Avenue South and adjacent campus streets close from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT. Free parking and shuttles operate from Nissan Stadium. • Clear-bag policy will be enforced; no oversized props or poles. • ESPN officials will select a celebrity guest picker Friday; early buzz centers on Nashville icons Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton. WHAT TO WATCH ON THE SHOW Rece Davis hosts alongside analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee and “Stanford Steve” Coughlin. Expect deep dives on Vanderbilt’s opportunistic defense, Missouri quarterback Brady Cook’s road poise and the SEC playoff picture. Look for live music bumps from Lower Broadway and features on Vanderbilt’s rise under coach Clark Lea. HOW TO WATCH IF YOU’RE NOT ON CAMPUS • TV: ESPN (primary), ESPNU simulcast, ESPN2 “command center” feed. • Streaming: ESPN app (cable login), FuboTV, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV. • Radio/Audio: Live on ESPN Radio and SiriusXM Channel 81. • Social: @CollegeGameDay will stream behind-the-scenes segments on TikTok and Instagram Reels. GAME KICKOFF & BROADCAST Missouri at Vanderbilt kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC with Chris Fowler and Jesse Palmer in the booth. The winner remains in the thick of the SEC East race and the expanded College Football Playoff hunt. HISTORICAL CONTEXT This appearance marks GameDay’s eighth SEC stop in nine weeks and its second straight feature of a Vanderbilt contest (the crew visited Tuscaloosa in Week 6). Nashville becomes the 130th different GameDay location since the show went on the road in 1993.
