Boulder, Colo. — The 45th annual BOLDERBoulder 10K returns on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, bringing an estimated 54,000 runners and more than 50,000 spectators to the streets of Boulder. Race-day waves roll out from 30th Street and Pearl starting early in the morning, funneling thousands through Boulder’s neighborhoods before the dramatic finish inside the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field. Nicknamed “America’s All-Time Best 10K” by Runner’s World, the BOLDERBoulder is now the fourth-largest road race in the United States. Road closures & traffic plan • 30th Street between Pearl and Arapahoe shuts down at 3 a.m.; the remainder of the course closes at 6 a.m. and reopens by 1 p.m. • Pearl & Folsom provide the only downtown outlet during the event. • CU-Boulder campus lots south of Colorado Ave. open three hours before the first wave; expect 45-minute post-race delays. How to track results Unofficial live splits and searchable finisher data will post on the race’s results portal as soon as participants cross the line. Spectators can also sign up for athlete-tracking texts through the same link. Course records to beat • Men: 27:52 – Josephat Machuka (1995) • Women: 32:13 – Delilah Asiago (1995) Race-day tips for runners & fans • Arrive at least 90 minutes before your wave; security and bag checks follow CU’s clear-bag policy. • Hydrate early—morning temperatures traditionally hover in the 50s, but Colorado sun climbs fast by mid-race. • Bring ID if you plan to claim a free beer in the finish-line expo. • Costumes are welcome, but pets are not; only certified service animals may enter the course. Memorial Day tribute At noon, Folsom Field hosts the race’s signature tribute honoring U.S. service members. The ceremony is open to all ticketed finish-line spectators and traditionally features a flyover, paratroopers and a moment of silence. Spectator hot spots • 19th & Balsam “Doritos Corner” live band stage • Broadway hill for pro-wave sprint battles • Folsom Field grandstands for the sonic boom of 40,000+ runners finishing Key phrases to search and bookmark “BOLDERBoulder 2025 results,” “Boulder Memorial Day road closures,” “BOLDERBoulder parking map,” and “Folsom Field finish live stream” will surface real-time updates throughout race weekend.
