Arc Raiders Update: New Gameplay Trailer, Release Window, and Co-Op Features Unveiled

The long-awaited Riven Tides ARC Raiders update is now live, bringing the co-op extraction shooter’s biggest content drop since launch. New map: Riven Tides • A sprawling coastal zone set on the Rust Belt’s western shore, featuring an abandoned resort, a towering dockyard and flooded exodus port. The map’s vertical ferry cranes and open beaches create fresh sniper lanes and flanking routes for three-player crews. New enemy: ARC Turbine • A floating machine that patrols the shoreline. It remains passive until provoked, then unleashes area-denial shockwaves and a rotating beam that shreds cover, demanding coordinated takedowns. Minor map condition: Beachcombing • During certain sessions, the Dockmaster’s Detector spawns, allowing squads to sweep sandbars and dig up buried caches for bonus gear and Raider Tokens. Fall-mitigation gear • Crash Mat: deploy underneath high drops to negate lethal fall damage. • Powered Descender: anchor, rappel, and reverse-grapple to ascend cliffs or container stacks quickly. Seasonal event: Last Resort (April 28 – May 25) • Earn Merits by converting XP on any map; hunt hidden miniature ship models for huge Merit bonuses. • Three reward pages unlock the Junior Outfit, Hydrologist backpack, Hose attachment, Brass Faucet charm, new emotes and 250 Raider Tokens in total. Raider project: Avian Alarm • Build a five-stage coastal early-warning network by trapping seabirds at buoy stations. Completion grants the Dockmaster’s Detector, Gel Patches, Bird House backpack attachment, Fist In Air emote and another 250 Raider Tokens. Fresh cosmetics schedule • Launch day: Solare Set (ceremonial sunrise robes) and Rachetta Set (athletic high-vis gear). • May rollouts: Corsaro (techno-captain with robo-arm), Castaway (lone-wolf survivalist), Sandveil (desert recon).
