f1 schedule
As Formula 1 gears up to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the World Championship, the FIA has rubber-stamped a record-equalling 24-round 2025 F1 schedule that stretches from mid-March to early December. The new calendar combines traditional crown-jewel races with modern showpieces while tightening the geographical flow to reduce travel miles and carbon emissions. The season fires up Down Under at Albert Park, Melbourne (14-16 March), before heading straight to Shanghai for the Chinese Grand Prix—returning for only its second appearance since 2019. A spring swing through Asia and the Middle East follows, with Suzuka on 4-6 April, Bahrain on 11-13 April, and Jeddah one week later; the Gulf events have moved to April to avoid Ramadan. Europe dominates late spring and summer. Miami opens the U.S. account on 2-4 May, then Imola and Monaco form a classic double-header, with Barcelona, Montréal, Spielberg and Silverstone completing a momentum-packed early summer run. After the traditional August shutdown, Zandvoort restarts the action before Monza, Baku and the floodlit Singapore Grand Prix. North America hosts two more stops—Austin and Mexico City—before the São Paulo classic and the Las Vegas night race. A desert finale pairs Lusail (Qatar) with Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi, on 5-7 December. 2025 will also feature six Sprint events—Shanghai, Miami, Spa, Austin, São Paulo and Qatar—plus pre-season testing in Bahrain (26-28 February), giving fans extra competitive action ahead of lights-out.
